Well, this isn't the best news to come right after a pregnancy announcement

Just yesterday, E! News confirmed that Playboy model Holly Madison was expecting her first child with boyfriend Pasquale Rotella. But today, we learn that her baby daddy is in the middle of some serious legal trouble that could put him behind bars.

Rotella, the CEO and founder of Insomniac (a group that produces large musical events like The Electric Daisy Carnival), was one of six men involved in various charges regarding rave events held at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

According to the indictment, former events manager Todd DeStefano, who quit in January 2011, allegedly received more than $1.8 million from Insomniac and another rave producer. In exchange, the indictment alleges DeStefano used his public position to reduce the payments due the Coliseum and ensure the concerts continued even after a highly publicized fatality after one of the concerts in the summer of 2010.

The counts against Rotella include bribery, embezzlement, conspiracy and conflict of interest. If convicted on all counts, he could face over 13 years in jail, according to People.

Rotella's attorney Gary Jay Kaufman tells E! News that his client, "has always acted lawfully and appropriately with respect to all of his dealings with the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Any allegations of wrongdoing on the part of Mr. Rotella by the District Attorney's office are completely baseless and flat-out wrong, both on the law and on the facts."

He adds, "All transactions between Insomniac and the Coliseum were transparent and approved by the Coliseum General Manager, his staff and the attorneys representing the Coliseum. Any charges against Mr. Rotella are clearly politically motivated and publicity driven. As the future goes, Mr. Rotella will vigorously defend himself to clear his good name and looks forward to being completely vindicated."

Rotella is currently out on bail (which was a hefty $1.8 million) and the magazine claims he is scheduled to go back to court for a pre-trial conference on September 25.
