Wouldn't Ellen DeGeneres and Ann Romney look adorable in matching onesie PJs on the set of Modern Family?!

OK, so we're guessing that's not actually going to happen (in a million years), but Ellen just took to Twitter to offer to play Ann's "roommate" on the hit ABC comedy—a couple of days after Modern Family boss Steve Levitan offered a role to "fan" Ann Romney (wife of Mitt Romney)...as an officiant for Mitch and Cam's gay wedding.

"I'll play [Ann's] roommate!" the talk-show host tweeted on her official account.

Mitt Romney's 63-year-old other half openly professed her love for Modern Family to Entertainment Tonight, and earlier this week Levitan offered her a spot on the show—while not-so-subtly taking a shot at her husband's anti-gay-marriage stance.

"Thrilled Ann Romney says ModFam is her favorite show," Levitan tweeted. "We'll offer her the role of officiant at Mitch & Cam's wedding. As soon as it's legal."

ABC has no comment on Ellen's offer at this time.

While on the campaign trail in Oklahoma City in May, Mitt Romney told reporters, "I have the same view on marriage that I had when I was governor. I believe marriage is a relationship between a man and a woman."

Levitan has mentioned that the likes of George Clooney and Julia Roberts have expressed interest in guest starring. (And now Ellen.) Really, Ann...How can you refuse!?
