Listen up, policy wonks: We're spicing up coverage of the Republican National Convention.

Sure, you could read the party platform or study position papers, but why not follow the events in Tampa by taking a look at some of Mitt Romney's easy-on-the-eyes supporters (and we're not just talking about "cute" Paul Ryan).

Today's hot Republican of the day is Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy, who was introduced as a "former world-champion lumberjack" before he spoke earlier today about the economy during the second session of the RNC.

Does he look familiar? He should!

The 40-year-old politician made his reality TV debut on MTV's The Real World: Boston back in 1997, five years before he became an elected government official. He's also appeared on Road Rules: All Stars and Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Battle of the Seasons, as well as done commentary for ESPN.

What are his positions? A former district attorney, Congressman Duffy is pro-life and has voted for multiple bills to approve limits on funding for abortion. He also opposes same-sex marriage.

Duffy currently serves on the House Financial Services Committee and the Joint Economic Committee and is vocal about balancing the national budget and reducing debt. He also believes in supporting small businesses as a means for job growth and economic prosperity.

And sorry, ladies: Duffy is married to Real World: San Francisco alum Rachel Campos-Duffy. The couple have six kids together.
