According to The Sun, Russell and Geri met while in London for the Olympics, where both performed during the closing ceremonies (Geri as part of a Spice reunion and Russell in a tribute to the Beatles).
The tabloid's source claims that the duo is now a "proper" couple and alleges that Russell and Geri even went on an outing with Geri's 6-year-old daughter, Bluebell, to the Hampton Court Palace.
But is it all just a bunch of bollocks? A source tells E! News that Russell and Geri are just friends and have been out a few times.
Just last month Russell confirmed that he was dating Isabella Brewster (younger sister to Dallas star Jordana Brewster), saying, "Some things in the newspaper aren't true…that's true, actually" about his relationship.
Russell is no stranger to tabloid rumored romances, which only amped up as he and ex-wife of 14 months, Katy Perry, finalized their divorce. So while Katy and John Mayer have called it quits, we'll have to wait and see on Russell's latest love connections.
