Isla Fisher wants you to know that she does not do drugs.

But try telling that to her friends.

The funny lady wife of Sacha Baron Cohen (and mom of their two daughters) says she never knew her pals suspected she liked to party until she made Bachelorette, her new comedy in which she plays, well, a coked-out mess.

"It's hilarious for me because I've never done coke," Fisher, 36, said at last night's Hollywood premiere of the girl-powered flick. "When I got the job, I was like, 'How am I going to wing this? I don't have any experience.'"

She started to ask around for some advice.

"I asked a few friends what it's like being on coke and they said, 'We thought you were always on coke!'" Fisher said. "It turns out my personality, because I speak so quickly, people always thought I was doing it! I've never even seen it."

Even so, she admitted, "It was a relief to know that it wasn't going to be as much of stretch as I had anticipated."

Fisher will also be seen next year in director Baz Luhrman's adaptation of The Great Gatsby playing Myrtle Wilson.

"It was amazing. I could just talk about Gatsby all day," she gushed. "I loved it. I got to work with Baz. I kind of felt like I could retire after that."

Please don't!
