Here comes the bride! There goes...Taylor Swift?!

Amid denials from the Grammy-winning songbird's camp that she crashed a Kennedy wedding last weekend, Kathie Lee Gifford insisted on the Today show Thursday that Swift did, indeed, show up at the nuptials in Hyannis Port, Mass., and that she was asked to leave twice.

But unlike other reports, Gifford was privy to some first-hand intel: She was at the wedding and is the stepmother of Victoria Gifford Kennedy, who happens to be the mother of the bride, Kyle Kennedy.

Gifford said that Conor had been invited to the wedding but didn't RSVP until an hour before, when he sent Victoria a text message saying that he's be coming and asked if he could bring Swift.

"[Victoria] didn't know if he was coming or not," Gifford told cohost Hoda Kotb. "She heard that he might be, but he got in touch with her an hour earlier, and said, basically, 'Can I bring my girlfriend?'...She said very nicely, 'Please do not come.' Guess what? Then they came."

Gifford claims that Victoria, who told her she was "really not happy about this," was concerned that Swift's presence would detract from her daughter's big moment.

"It's the bride's day," she said, "and that was Vicki's other concern. 'This is my daughter's day and I would appreciate it if you would not come.'"

She adds that she later saw Conor and Swift at the wedding, but that they hightailed it after being asked to leave twice.

"I was out in the hallway, she was waiting, standing around, and he came out, took her by the hand and they left," Gifford said.

Sounds like they also left a pretty memorable impression on Gifford.
