The mystery surrounding Natalie Wood's death continues to deepen.
The Hollywood legend's death certificate has now been amended by authorities, who've updated it in light of ongoing questions about her mysterious drowning off the coast of Southern California 30 years ago.
According to the document, which E! News has obtained, the actress's cause of death has been changed from "accidental" to "undetermined."
The amendment was made earlier this month, but the document has only now become available.
The changes come nine months after authorities reopened their investigation into the actress' death after new information surfaced from several sources, including the captain of the yacht from which Wood disappeared off Cataline Island on Nov. 28, 1981.
No evidence of foul play has been found, but authorities stress that the case will continue to be investigated and remain active.
