The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards show doesn't air until Sept. 6, but it's already struck gold.
The popular program has landed the Fierce Five—U.S. Olympics gymnasts Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney and Kyla Ross—as presenters.
But news of the cute quintet making an appearance isn't the only thing that has us doing back flips and cartwheels.
It was also announced on Tuesday that Taylor Swift will be singing a new song off her upcoming album, Red, for the first time. She joins previously announced performers Green Day, Pink, Alicia Keys and One Direction.
As for other presenters, the network announced that, in addition to the Fierce Five, Miley Cyrus, Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa will also be part of the big shindig.
We're sure even McKayla Maroney is impressed.
