Wynonna Judd needs to reach into that seemingly endless reserve of strength once again.

Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser, the country star's husband of only two months, ended up losing his leg in the motorcycle crash he was involved in on Saturday.

A rep for Judd confirmed to E! News that Moser's left leg was severed in the accident and doctors in Rapid City, S.D., opted to amputate above the knee.

"He has also undergone surgery to his hand," the rep said in a statement. "Judd and Moser appreciate all of the quick medical and police responders as well as the hospital staff and well-wishes from family, friends and fans."

Moser, who in addition to being Judd's longtime leading man is also her drummer, popped the question on Christmas Eve and they tied the knot June 10. This is the singer's third marriage.

She and Moser were both out riding in Deadwood, S.D., before a show when Moser, who was riding a ways behind his wife, collided with another vehicle.
