The two-time Oscar winner split up with her boyfriend of five years, agent John Campisi, in May, a rep for Swank confirmed to E! News Monday.
No other details were available as to what led to the pretty low-key couple from A to breakup. Swank has spent the majority of the summer in South Africa and Wilmington, N.C., shooting Mary & Martha.
After she and Chad Lowe decided to divorce in May 2006 following eight and a half years of marriage, Swank was barely six months into singledom when she hooked up with Campisi.
Lowe tied the knot with producer Kim Painter two years ago, and they're expecting their second child together this fall.
Asked in the September 2010 issue of InStyle if she and Campisi were considering marriage, Swank said, "I believe in the sanctity of marriage. John and I, you know, we were both in long marriages and it's not something that we need to rush back into."
