Good news for the royal family: Prince Philip is on the mend!

Queen Elizabeth II's 91-year-old husband was released from the hospital Monday, per Clarence House's official Twitter account. The Duke of Edinburgh spent five nights at Scotland's Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to get treated for a recurrence of a bladder infection.

Philip was hospitalized Wednesday for the third time in the past year as "a precautionary measure," per Buckingham Palace, while he and the queen were staying at Balmoral.

His Royal Highness was also hospitalized in June during his wife's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, then discharged five days later. He underwent emergency surgery last Christmas for a blocked coronary artery.

We're certainly glad that Princes William and Harry's grandpa is healthy and headed home now.
