Tia Mowry is taking major offense to Netizens who think she birthed an ugly baby.

Appearing on Live From E! today, the Tia & Tamera star blasted online critics who have written what she said were "disgusting" comments about her 1-year-old son, Cree Taylor Hardrict, online.

"I really don't understand why people feel the need to belittle a child, someone who doesn't even have a voice yet to express themselves," said Mowry. "I just think it's disgusting—disgusting that we live in a society that focuses on looks."

The 34-year-old actress and her hubby Cory Hardrict welcomed Cree Taylor Hardrict on June 28, 2011. It's the first bundle of joy for the couple, and Mowry is so proud she put a slew of pictures of her baby online along with life-affirming messages.

But some critics on the Interwebs thought the pics of Cree were less than flattering, according to ONTD, and wrote some pretty mean things on various websites poking fun at his looks.

Mowry told the panel that she feels sympathy as well for fellow celebrities like Jessica Simpson who get so much flak for their post-pregnancy bodies.

"Guys, let's get women time to get back to themselves. We just brought life into this world," she added. "Some women bounce back quickly and some don't…I'm not gonna be at a gym five days a week. I wanna spend time with my son."

The new mom, by the way, is also a first-time author; her book, Oh, Baby! Pregnancy Tales and Advice From One Hot Mama to Another, is now in stores.
