Tonight's elimination show opened with a surprise guest: gold medalist Gabby Douglas!

The glammed-up U.S. gymnast helped Nick Cannon with his hosting duties as viewers saw who got cut and which four acts proceeded to the semifinals.

Let's get to it.

The first group of performers that learned their fate on the show were Cast in Bronze, Academy of Villains and Reverse Order. If anyone caught last night's episode, it wouldn't be too much of a shock to know that Academy of Villains got the upper hand and will be moving forward.

Next up was 7 in Unison, Bria Kelly and Rudy Coby, and the 16-year-old singer from Virginia Beach, Bria Kelly, made the cut.

The audience then saw The Magic of Puck, Eric Buss and Melinda Hill anxiously waiting to hear the news. Turns out that the stage magician from New York, who's been doing his talent for over 40 years, finally got his time to shine. Kudos, The Magic of Puck.

Lastly, it was between Romeo Dance Cheetah, Drew Erwin and Clint Carvalho and his Extreme Parrots. The first to get cut was Romeo Dance Cheetah (sad, he had a nice face to look at). When it came down to Drew and Clint, it was clear that the judges wanted to see Clint and his parrots in the semis, so they will.
