Britney Spears was in good spirits during a review of her conservatorship today in a Los Angeles court, but did she forget to wear her engagement ring?

Wearing a cute peach knee-length top with the sleeves rolled and tan heels, Spears drank a bottle of water as she waited for attorneys to arrive. However, several at the courthouse noticed she was not wearing the 4-carat round Neil Lane diamond given to her by her fiancé (and co-conservator) Jason Trawick when the two got engaged last December.

Once inside, Judge Reva Goetz ordered the hearing closed to the public. Co-conservators Trawick and Jamie Spears (Britney's father) were not present. Attorney Jeryll Cohen tells E! News that the duo's absence is not important as this was just a review hearing and Jamie was out of town.

"She is doing great," attorney Geraldine Wyle tells E! News about Britney.

The hearing took just over an hour, and afterward, Spears left through chambers and through the underground parking garage.

When asked about Britney's supposedly missing engagement ring, Cohen and Wyle laughed about it. "I would not have noticed," Cohen said. Both attorneys said nothing was going on with Brit's engagement.

The next scheduled hearing date is Aug. 31.
