Jennifer Garner Has Emotional Reunion With Alias Costar Victor Garber

Duo who worked together on the series for five years reunites backstage after his cabaret show in New York City

It's a crying shame these two don't get to see each other more often.

Jennifer Garner broke down in tears upon seeing her erstwhile Alias costar Victor Garber Monday in New York City.

The 63-year-old had just finished a performance of his cabaret show at 54 Below right off Times Square when Garner made a beeline for him backstage, gave him a tight hug and then broke down in tears.

But before you get all alarmed and send Jen some Kleenex, rest easy: These are tears of joy.

The two, who worked together for five years on Alias, are incredibly close. Garber officiated at her wedding to Ben Affleck back in 2005, and he's also godfather to their 6-year old daughter, Violet.

Garner, 40, has been keeping pretty busy these days, recently signing on as a celebrity guest blogger for iVillage's "CelebVillage."

In her first post, which ran yesterday, the mother of three talks about the pride a parent feels watching a child achieve a dream.

"If I ever see Michael Phelps' mother at a Subway," she wrote, "I will burst into hysterical tears from some kind of deep sense memory."

Now, now, Jen: All this crying you're doing is gonna make us burst into tears ourselves!
