Could fictional president Josiah Bartlet be poised for a comeback?

There's word going around that a West Wing movie could be happening thanks to a series of tweets by former castmember Joshua Malina that included a photo of costars Bradley Whitford and Allison Janney apparently running lines and another of Richard Schiff, who played White House communications director Toby Ziegler on the Aaron Sorkin drama.

"I can't say what super-secret set I'm on, but it rhymes with Bwest Bwing Bmovie," tweeted the 46-year-old thesp, later adding, "This time it's real, people."

E! News looked into the rumors, however, and can definitely say the answer is…

Hail to the Chief! See our pics of stars who've played the president

So false!

As it happens, Schiff told filmmaker Kevin Smith on Twitter that that he and his West Wing pals, who also included Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen and Mary McCormack, had merely reunited for a public service announcement.

"Just worked with Lily Tomlin again today for #WestWingPSA. She's like your favorite relative at Christmas," the actor wrote.

Malina's rep later confirmed to the New York Post that the PSA was on behalf of a friend running for office in the Midwest.

This isn't the first faux West Wing reunion. The gang also got back together for this Funny or Die PSA.
