The Dallas Cowboy are starting their year off on the good foot. First the NFL team had a shutout win over the Oakland Raiders Monday night and now their new Dallas Cowboys anthem has been unveiled with the help of loyal and talented fan Kelly Clarkson.

The Forth Worth native has stayed true to her Lone Star roots and co-written a tune for diehard Cowboy fans, entitled "Get Up".

"When my manager called me and he said ‘Hey, I have this opportunity to write for the Cowboys and are you interested?' I flipped out!," Kelly Clarkson told ESPN.

Repping her team hardcore, the pop star sings "I want to be a Cowboy, baby," over a typically stomping Kelly Clarkson tune.

The song is part of the Pepsi NFL Anthem project, which gives well-known artists the opportunity to release a track to support their local teams. Stars including Detroit Lions fan Kid Rock, Oakland Raiders fan Ice Cube and New York Giants fan Travie McCoy are set to sing their devotion and release songs supporting their favorite teams in the upcoming weeks.

Something tells us non-Cowboy fans won't be able to stomach Clarkson's tune, but we'll leave it up to you decide.

So how 'bout them 'boys? What are your thoughts on the newest Cowboys anthem?
