Things seem to be going downhill for Chad Ochocinco.

Less than 24 hours after getting arrested for a domestic altercation with his wife, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada, it was announced that Ochocinco will no longer be playing for the Miami Dolphins.

"The Miami Dolphins have terminated the contract of WR Chad Johnson," the team's Twitter account wrote.

The NFL star was arrested yesterday for allegedly head-butting his wife, according to Davie, Fla., police captain Dale Engle, who also shared that each of them offered a different story, "She alleges he leaned over and head-butted her. He says she leaned towards him and that they butted heads."

Regardless, Engle adds, "Needless to say she has a good laceration on her forehead."

According to ABC News, Johnson was released from jail on $2,500 bond and charged with a misdemeanor of simple domestic battery.
