Wanna watch Anna Kendrick squirm? Just suggest she star in the movie version of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Appearing on Bravo's Watch What Happens: Live last night to plug her new animated film ParaNorman, the Twilight star was asked by a caller whether she'd be up for playing main character Anastasia Steele in the highly anticipated big-screen adaptation of E.J. James' erotic bestseller.

Who knew she'd be so bashful about it!?

"No, I haven't read it," the Oscar-nominated thesp told the viewer in a clip posted by The Huffington Post, doing her utmost to evade the question.

"Who wouldn't want to be tied up by a hot guy, right?" replied the caller, undeterred.

To which Kendrick turned red-faced and expressed shock.

Various websites have reported that the actress is near or at the top of fans' wish list along with Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson to play the 22-year-old inexperienced college senior who engages in a hot and heavy BDSM-filled relationship with mysterious millionaire Christian Grey, while actors such as Christian Bale, Chris Hemsworth and  Magic Mike star Matt Bomer have been bandied about for the latter role. Fifty Shades of Grey producers meanwhile are still searching for a writer.
