But this time, the actor has stripped down to a pair of skivvies for a different reason, which will also explain the peculiar look on his face.
Cooper is currently playing Joseph Merrick alongside actress Patricia Clarkson in a revised version of The Elephant Man at the Williamstown Theatre in Massachusetts over the weekend.
His lead role portrays a man who suffers from extreme deformities during the Victorian era in London, and goes from being the local freak show to becoming the star of the town with the help of Mrs. Kendall (Clarkson), an actress hired to befriend Merrick.
The show will run at Williamstown Theatre until Aug. 5.
