The Olympics shockers keep rolling in.

Following Michael Phelps' fourth-place swim Saturday, Jordyn Wieber, the reigning world all-around gymnastics champion, didn't make the cut when it came down to this year's Olympic games.

The 17-year-old powerhouse gymnast was spotted sobbing after she failed to qualify for the women's all-around finals during the gymnastics women's qualification Sunday.

Only two girls from the US team could qualify for the Olympic all-around final. After Weiber's scores fell behind those of her teammates Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas during the competition, that meant she was out.

"It is a bit of a disappointment, " Wieber said in a statement after the competition today. "It has always been a dream of mine to compete in the all-around final of the Olympics."

In spite of her disappointment, Wieber made sure to thank fans for their support via Twitter Sunday, writing, "Thank you all for your love and support. I am so proud of our team today and I can't wait for team finals!!"
