Well, in this preview clip from the pop star's upcoming music video for the song "As Long As You Love Me," he's clearly contemplating doing just that.
The sneak peek shows the 18-year-old singer getting a, um, earful from Michael Madsen about how he is not exactly keen on the Biebs wanting to be with his little girl.
"Listen kid, my daughter is everything," Madsen says. "She needs me as much as I need her. That means someday I have to let her go. When I do, she needs to be with a man, not a boy."
Ouch.
Guess carrying oneself in a more "manly way" just isn't going to, er, cut it.
The full-length video is set to be released next Wednesday.
