It's not all fun and games as a royal. But it's mostly fun. And for the next few weeks, it's all about the Games.

Kate Middleton flanked by Prince William and Prince Harry got into the Olympic spirit in London today, dropping by a sports center (funded by one of their charity initiatives) and meeting up with the budding athletes.

And, of course, rolling up their sleeves, kicking off their shoes and joining the games themselves.

The happy trio dropped by the Bacon's College to launch the program, Coach Core (which teaches teens to become empowered coaches and mentors in their community), and wasted no time in demonstrating some of their own skills to the crowd.

And let's just say, Sporty Spice ain't got nothing on the duchess.

Kicking off her shoes (which she paired with a $54—no, that's not missing any digits—Hobbs dress), Kate gamely took part in a round of ping-pong, while Harry mucked in with basketball, and Wills, after delivering a speech to the hundred-strong crowd, tried his hand at football soccer. Um, we'll spare you the details, but let's just say David Beckham has nothing to worry about (yes, he missed his goal attempt. And for the purposes of full disclosure, Harry probably doesn't need to wait by the phone for a call from any NBA recruiters...he went 0-4 with the hoops).

"Over the next month, the eyes of the world will be on Great Britain," Will said. "For us to hold the Olympic and the Paralympic Games here in London is a great moment for our nation, which itself is steeped in sporting history.

"Therefore, for Catherine, Harry and me, there could be no better way of starting this epic time than being with you here in Rotherhithe, so close to the heart of London 2012, to launch Coach Core."

The royals aren't done with their Olympics duties just yet, of course. Later today, the threesome is due back at the palace, where they will greet the Olympic torch en route to the stadium.
