Now here's a Game of Thrones shocker.

Actress Lena Headey, known to fans of the HBO fantasy series as the evil Cersei Lannister, has filed for divorce from her husband Peter Loughran.

According to People, Headey filed the documents last week at the LA Superior Court citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple, who married in May 2007, have one child together, a 2-year-old son named Wylie Elliot Loughran.

Game of Thrones recently nabbed 12 Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama and Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for Headey.

She has also been cast in Mortal Instruments: City of Bones based on the adaptation of Cassandra Clare's fantasy book series, according to Deadline. Headey will take on the role of Jocelyn Fray and the film is slated for an August 2013 release.
