Lady Gaga has never been one to follow protocol.

So when the 26-year-old pop star decided to debut her new music for fans, she did it on her own terms: blasting the music from her car in a New York City parking garage!

As shown in a 38-second YouTube video posted Sunday, a handful of Little Monsters got a first listen of Gaga's upbeat new track in a rather unconventional way. "Gaga, this sounds amazing," one fan calls out excitedly as the bass pumps in the background.

Gaga herself is seen smiling, wearing sunglasses, as she gets in the back door of the vehicle.

One overzealous fan shouts at her to "listen to my CD!" It doesn't appear that the "Born This Way" singer takes her up on this offer.

A few excited fans took to Twitter to recount their experience. "YOU GUYS THE SONG WAS F--KING PERFECT!!!," one user wrote. "IT WAS A VERY HEAVY DANCE/CLUB SONG!!! THE BEAT WAS F--KING INSANE!!!"

"I asked her if it was the new single she looked at me and shook her head yes and said shhhhh," tweeted another user.

Gaga will release the name of her upcoming album in September. No word yet on when this first single will officially drop, but somehow we think it'll be a hit.
