While talking to E! News over the weekend about his upcoming film The Watch, the actor spoke on the incident that left 12 people dead and injured 58 others early Friday morning during a showing of The Dark Knight Rises.
Stiller, of course, knows all too well about a film becoming linked or associated with an unfortunate event.
The Watch had originally been called Neighborhood Watch, but the title was subsequently changed in the wake of the Trayvon Martin case. What's more, the movie's initial teaser trailer and poster were also yanked from theaters.

The Watch opens in theaters this Friday.
