E! News confirms that Rascal Flatts member Jay DeMarcus and his wife Allison welcomed their second child together, a son, on Friday.
"Thanks everyone for all the well wishes!! Dylan Jay was born yesterday at 4:02pm and weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces. He's gorgeous, just like his dad," DeMarcus tweeted yesterday.
And this star almost missed seeing his (gorgeous) baby boy be born!
His rep tells E! News that the group was on tour when it was time to give birth, but he was able to fly to Nashville for delivery and then back to Detroit same day. What a day, huh?
The musician's rep said, "Mom and baby are doing fine and will be home soon."
The couple already have an almost-2-year-old daughter together, Madeline Leigh DeMarcus.
