Dancing With the Stars' Cheryl Burke Steps Out With New Boyfriend

Cheryl Burke was spotted with a new man, heartthrob NHL player Joffrey Lupul, at the Jockey for a Cause event on Wednesday in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.

The charity event, which was held at the DeHaven Estate, raised money for jockeys injured while competing.

The Dancing With the Stars hottie was apparently super nervous before meeting up with him for the Del Mar Races in San Diego.

The two were seen acting "super lovey" at the event's after-party, holding hands and feeding each other.

The 28-year-old dancer met Lupul at the 2012 NHL Awards in Las Vegas last month, and the two reportedly hit it off immediately. She was a presenter; he was a finalist for an award (aw!).

The 28-year-old Canadian-born hockey player currently plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs, following stints with the Anaheim Ducks, Edmonton Oilers and Philadelphia Flyers.

This isn't the first time Burke has been romantically linked to an athlete, though: It was rumored that the choreographer and her season 10 partner, Miami Dolphins player Chad Ochocinco, had a fling while he was on DWTS.

A man in a jersey is always a plus in our book.
