No one's saying that Mila isn't a beautiful name, but when it came to Kourtney Kardashian's baby girl, it just wasn't the right one.

Recent reports may claim that Kourt was originally planning to name her daughter Mila instead of Penelope Scotland Disick, but E! News has learned that wasn't the case at all.

That doesn't mean Mila didn't come up in conversation though.

Mila was actually a name suggested to Kourtney by Kim Kardashian on the "Momager Dearest" episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (aired May 27). Kim said she thought Mason and Mila would be a cute boy/girl combo, which we totally agree, but her sister didn't.

A family source tells E! News that, "Kourtney never really seriously considered it."

As we previously reported, Kourtney and Scott Disick chose the name Penelope simply because they both thought it was cute, and also took a liking to momager Kris Jenner's middle-name suggestion, Scotland.

Sorry, no significant backstory here.
