Demi Lovato just said no...to a couple of X Factor hopefuls who rapped about doing drugs earlier today during their audition for the Fox show.

"She wasn't having any of it," a source confirms to E! News of what went down in Greensboro, N.C. "She said 'It's really irresponsible to be rapping about drugs in front of kids.' Then they tried to make excuses and Demi said, 'You talked about bath salts, I heard you.'"

Bath salts, if you don't know, is an addictive synthetic powder that has the same effects as cocaine and crystal meth. And it just so happens that President Barack Obama signed new legislation yesterday that bans two chemical compounds in the United States that are used to make bath salts.

Lovato told the young rappers to leave the stage, the source said, and the "rest of the judges completely backed her."

The audience also booed the duo.

Nice job, Lovato!

The 19-year-old hitmaker has made no secret about her past use of drugs and alcohol and a stint in rehab two years ago for emotional issues.

She told Seventeen magazine in January that she thinks "sober is sexy."

At the time, she also told E! News, "Now I cherish a whole new meaning to my career, which is to be an inspiration. I think I've been given a voice for a reason...Everything happened for a reason and it's no coincidence that I've been put through a lot at such a young age."

Lovato is set to host the Teen Choice Awards later this month in L.A.

We can't think of better person for the job.
