A funny thing happened at the U.S. women's gymnastics trials in June: Gabby Douglas flip-flopped from out of nowhere and stole the show.
The pixie charmer, who tells E! News she got her start in the sport by watching her older sister do cartwheels, cops to being a huge Vampire Diaries fan and even has an actress in mind to play her in a biopic: Gabrielle Union. (We'll second that—bring it on!)
It's a pity they no longer award a perfect-10 score in gymnastics, though. (The scoring system was overhauled several years ago into a more "open-ended" point-accumulation tally.) If they did, Douglas would surely be as perfect as they come.
