Can you imagine Channing Tatum in spandex and cape doing the side-worm? Yum, now that's a good Superman.

But before you get excited, that's not exactly the picture Warner Bros. has in mind.

According to Variety, the studio is hoping to snag the Magic Mike star to voice Superman for their flick Lego: The Piece of Resistance, which combines live-action and Lego-based animation.

So, is he game?

It's not a definite yes or no right now.

Tatum hasn't committed to the project because of his busy schedule (the blue-eyed hunk is currently working on Bennett Miller's Foxcatcher and a 21 Jump Street sequel).

However, Will Arnett and Chris Pratt are both signed on to the film, with Pratt voicing the lead character Emmet and Arnett taking on the role of Lego Batman.

The Phil Lord and Christopher Miller-directed movie has been in development since 2008 and is slated for a February 2014 release date.

Do you think Tatum would be a good addition to the film? Sound off in the comments!
