Communication is key, people.

According to The Huffington Post, Donald Trump is planning to cohost a $50,000-a-head fundraiser dinner this Thursday with presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.

But the Republican candidate's campaign doesn't seem to be on the same page.

Romney's camp reported today that they would not be meeting with Trump anytime this week. And then, just like clockwork, the reality star's rep then confirmed the event, which is anticipated to bring over 50 people to the home of stock investor Martin Zweig in Manhattan's Pierre Hotel.

What's going on?!

Romney spokesman Rick Gorka reaffirms that there will be "no meeting" and said, "That won't be happening this week." Meanwhile, Trump tweeted, "Looking forward to the "Dine with Mitt and Donald" this Thursday. Can't wait to meet the lucky winner. @MittRomney"

It looks like we'll have to wait until Thursday to find out what's really happening.
