Scott Michael Foster is allegedly taking his Greek role a little too far.

The 23-year-old star of ABC Family's frat boy dramedy was arrested early this morning in Hollywood for misdemeanor drunken driving, E! News has learned.

According to Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Ana Aguirre, a patrol unit pulled over Foster near the intersection of Sunset and Wilcox at approximately 12:20 a.m.

"It was a normal traffic stop, and it was found he was drinking," Aguirre said. "[Field] tests determined that was the case, and he was taken into custody."

The actor was booked at a nearby police station on a misdemeanor DUI and released around 5 a.m. on $5,000 bail.

Foster is scheduled to be back in traffic court Aug. 11.
