The power of sisterly love was on display Thursday night as Jamie Lynn Spears took to a Nashville stage.

Boasting the same golden locks and smile with which her sister first charmed her own legions of fans, Britney Spears' little sis was performing at a showcase when she busted out a tune titled "I Look Up to You."

"You can imagine who I wrote it about," the 21-year-old Spears quipped to the packed house at the 3rd and Lindsley Bar & Grill before launching into the country ballad.

"Scared little girl living in a big old world," Spears sang, "You've outgrown your room / It all happened way too soon / They took away your innocence / We forgot our strong defense."

Jamie Lynn is pursuing a career in music, having made her singing debut last year, and is reportedly working on a country album.

Assuming the tune is in fact about Britney's much-publicized travails, well, they certainly are worthy of a sad country song or two. Even with Brit-Brit's new judging gig on The X Factor, or hits like "3," she'll be living with the shadow of her real-time public meltdown for a long time.

Good thing for her that her little sister's got her back.
