Those royals sure know how to party on!

Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee celebrations may have formally come to an end with a star-studded-concert and thanksgiving service last week, but Britons are happily taking that whole "formally" part with a grain of salt.

The festivities continued in earnest today as Prince William and Kate Middleton accompanied the queen to a royal stop in Nottingham—and boy, did they get quite the reception.

Just how many showed up?

Try 35,000 people!

Per the Daily Mail, the eye-popping throng welcomed the Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Nottingham, many of them reportedly lining up as early as 5 a.m. to get a glimpse of the monarch and the glamorous couple.

Will and Kate arrived first at the Nottingham train station, where they waited for the queen to roll in via royal train.

Union Jacks waved in full force as the party made its way to the town square, where Kate—dressed in a teal Missoni coat—joined her husband and the queen as they greeted people and shook hands with onlookers.

The trio then moved to the Nottingham Council House, where they appeared on the balcony as the elated crowd cheered on.

Sadly missing was Prince Philip, who was still recovering from his recent bladder infection after being released from the hospital over the weekend.

We wouldn't worry, though: At the rate the Queen's loyal subjects continue to fête her Diamond Jubilee, we're pretty sure a new shindig will roll around very soon for the MIA Prince Philip to grace.
