He's a porn star! (Yes, we know you already knew that, but we just had to say it one more time.)

James Deen will be costarring with Lindsay Lohan in the upcoming indie flick The Canyons, written by Bret Easton Ellis and directed by Paul Schrader. Although he keeps his bio on Twitter pretty simple and straightforward, we were able to find some other tidbits of information that you might not have known about the 26-year-old.

1. Rebel With a Cause: If you haven't already noticed, the young star's name is a play on the famous James Dean, but that wasn't always the case. According to IMDb, the Pasadena native was born Bryan Sevilla, but received his alias at the age of 12 due to the way he smoked. (You read that right, he was smoking at age 12.)

2. Young Ambition: Some guys may find their calling at an older age, but not James. The adult film star shared during an interview with Nightline that his desire to work in the pornography industry started when he was—wait for it—in kindergarten. Yep, kindergarten. And it was all thanks to an old porn magazine. "I picked it up and I'm like, 'Oh my God, this is the cool, this is awesome,'" he said. "It was this weird moment that I will always remember where I was like, This is what I want to be when I grow up. I want to do this."

3. Award-Winning Performance: You may not have heard of James Deen until now, but in his sexy world, he's quite the well-known guy and has been recognized for his work. In 2009, Deen was named the Male Performer of the Year by Adult Video News at the age of 23, making him the youngest actor to have won this award. Deen also appeared in over 500 scenes just in his first year in the industry and since then has done, well, a ridiculous amount of videos. Overall, he's won seven awards so far.

4. Sexpert Advice: During an interview with the Frisky in 2010, Deen (who was said to have been with over 3,000 women at that time) offered some advice for women who were looking to improve their skills in the bedroom. Who better to dish the goods, right? "Don't try to have sex like a porn star," Deen said. "When you're having sex on film, you need to angle yourself a certain way. Doing that at home…it's just going to be awkward."

5. Keynote Speaker: By now you're probably thinking, Gosh, is there anything that doesn't have to do with sex when it comes to this guy? And our answer is barely. But when all is said and done, James Deen gave some some college grads a very motivating speech through Good magazine's new online feature "Real Talk for New Graduates."

We're not being sarcastic, either.

"Commit," he told them. "The world is a tough place no matter what you are doing. Focus on what you truly want to do as a career and don't get distracted by whatever job may be paying your bills in the interim. The last thing you want is to be the most successful person at a job you hate and fantasizing all day about doing what you love.

"Balance your determination with a healthy amount of down time. You will have a long life—don't feel rushed to figure out what it is that you need to be doing. If need be, take time off between college and the working world and get to know yourself.

"Find hobbies and make yourself happy, so even if you never are able to find a career that thrills you on a daily basis, you will be able to have personal happiness. Personal internal happiness is more valuable than anything else and it is something that no one can give or take away from you."
