Don't look for Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart to tie the knot anytime soon.
After the American Idol judge was snapped rocking a suspicious sparkler on her ring finger a few days ago, rumors flew her dancer beau had popped the question.
But, it appears everything was not as it seemed.

Quoting lyrics from her hit song, "Jenny From the Block," Lopez headed to her blog to squash the proposal buzz in a post called "The Truth About the Ring."
"Rumors!!! Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got. No engagement!," the singer/actress wrote.
"What's the best way to stop a false rumor?," she went on to ask fans.
It looks like she found it.
