Now, it's really time to celebrate.

Days after Prince Philip was hospitalized in the midst of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the 90-year-old royal was released from the hospital Saturday—just in time for his 91st birthday on Sunday (and more Jubilee shindigs).

Prince Philip was all smiles as he walked out of King Edward VII Hospital in London, waving to fans standing outside, according to the BBC.

"The Duke of Edinburgh continues to make a good recovery,"  a spokesman for Buckingham Palace told the network. "He will continue his convalescence at home. He will spend the weekend privately."

Prince Philip was admitted to the hospital Monday for treatment for a bladder infection, just a day after attending a cold, rainy Jubilee river pageant with the Queen and other members of the royal family.

Luckily, the Duke of Edinburgh will have a little bit of time to rest before engaging in more Jubilee festivities. He isn't scheduled to be in the public eye again until Tuesday, when he will attend the Queen's garden party at Sandringham Estate.
