Former America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden just broke her silence on the airport scuffle that resulted in her mother's hospitalization and the arrest of Nikki Blonsky, but the Hairspray star isn't joining in on the disclosure circuit just yet.

"Since this is a pending legal issue, she's been advised by her lawyer not to comment," Blonsky publicist Teal Cannaday tells E! News.

Golden, meanwhile, appears to have received no such advising and took her side of the story to her former TV mentor, opening up about the July 29 Caribbean smackdown on The Tyra Banks Show.

According to the former reality contestant, her family was making their way back from a trip to Turks and Caicos after visiting her dying grandfather. Things went south when, Golden recounted, Blonsky "was very rude to my aunt."

Blonsky told the aunt, who was holding two babies, "You can leave. You can go away," per Golden.

"I was really upset by that, because my aunt and I are close," Golden told Banks in the episode, which is set to air Oct. 8.

Golden said she responded to Blonsky by saying, " 'You need to mind your business. You don't know what's going on.' She went off."

It was at that point that Golden's mother, Elaine, stepped in to calm things down. As she approached, however, so did Blonsky's father, Carl. That's when things got really ugly, Golden said.

"Before my mom could walk away from us, her father…punched my mom. He knocked her out. He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back, and when she stumbled back, the whole family got up and attacked my mom."

Golden said that the 19-year-old Hairspray star caused considerably brutal damage, "tak[ing] her foot and kick[ing] my mom in her vagina, and that's when my mom fell out completely."

Golden said Blonsky only stopped when the actress' own mother "sat on her."

At the same time, Golden claimed, the entire Blonsky family was yelling racial slurs.

"Her father and mother started saying, 'They got rabies, they got rabies!' "

After airport security finally stepped in, and arrests were made. Bianca was allowed to accompay her mother on her ride to the hospital. Elaine Golden was ultimately airlifted to a trauma unit in Florida.

"She said to me, 'Bianca, if anything happens to me, I need you to take care of your brother and sister.' To hear that from your mom...I was freaking out."

Elaine ultimately suffered a broken nose, fractured skull and internal bleeding in the attack, and while she is now able to walk, she is undergoing therapy.

"Her face is still black and blue," Bianca Golden said.

Both she and Nikki Blonsky were charged with actual bodily harm and common assault and could each face two years behind bars.

Carl Blonsky, meanwhile, was charged with the additional count of inflicting grievous bodily harm and could face up to five years in prison.

Both Blonskys are due in court Dec. 1. Golden's trial was expected to begin last month, though has since been postponed to Nov. 24 in the wake of Hurricane Ike.
