The skies weren't very friendly for Kim Kardashian this week.
The E! star and frequent flier wasted no time in airing her grievances with British Airways over the holiday weekend, tweeting that some exceedingly "sentimental" items had been lifted from her luggage, supposedly by the sticky fingers of airport staff.
Well, we've finally learned what items, exactly, were so unceremoniously checked out of her check-in...
It's little wonder Kim was so upset at the missing pieces.
E! News has confirmed that somewhere in the skies between London and Los Angeles, where Kim was returning from the Cannes Film Festival, the following items went missing: several smaller pieces of Tumi luggage, which, along with the other purloined paraphernalia, were contained within a larger bag; several designer purses and handbags worth thousands of dollars apiece; and a pair of vintage sunglasses that were given to the starlet by her father, Robert Kardashian, just shortly before his death.
Who could blame her, then, for being so vocal about the theft.
Earlier today, British Airways offered an update on their investigation, saying that the bags appeared to be untampered with when they touched down on the first leg of Kim's journey, when she traveled from Nice to London, and that there was no evidence to suggest the suitcase was in any way interfered with at Heathrow.
