How's this for a flashback?

André 3000 (aka André Benjamin) was spotted for the first time channeling Jimi Hendrix as he began shooting the upcoming biopic All Is by My Side in Dublin, Ireland over the weekend.

Decked out in full costume and sporting that infamous 'do, the Outkast member bore a striking resemblance to the music icon.

However, whether or not we'll actually get to hear André belt out such classic Hendrix tunes as "Purple Haze" and "All Along the Watchtower" remains to be seen.

The late guitarist's estate has publicly denied the filmmakers' requests to use any of the late legend's songs in the project, per MTV News.

Directed by Red Tails screenwriter John Ridley, the movie will reportedly center on Hendrix's time in London during the late '60s prior to his death in 1970.
