Davis attended the 9th annual P.S. Arts Bag Lunch event sans Sorkin. Was she at least talking about the romance?
As if—the single mom of one has never been one to blab about her private life.
Although Davis, 47, did gush about motherhood. "It's great," she said about baby Gemma, who she adopted in mid-2011. "Better than I hoped."
And we are very happy to report that Davis says she's "supportive" of the CW's Sex and the City prequel series, The Carrie Diaries. She told us in February that she wasn't so keen on a rumored prequel movie.
Do does that mean we may be seeing Ms. Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon making cameos on the show? Davis said, "If Sarah Jessica called me and asked me to do it I would do it, but that's about the only way that any of that will be happening."

Meanwhile, Davis was looking fab in a blue and orange Jonathan Saunders sundress. "I have been hosting this event for as many years as it has been happening," Davis told us of the fundraiser, which benefits arts education. "For me as a child, arts were the only think that got me through school. It made a huge difference for me, in terms of focus, in terms of feeling like I was good at something."
Also at the event were Davis' stylist pal Elizabeth Stewart as well as Becki Newton, Lisa Rinna, Marisol Nichols and E!'s own Fashion Police host George Kotsiopoulos.
