The Great Gatsby Trailer: Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan Party Like It's 1922

Dang, we didn't know they got down like that in the 1920s.

In the newly released trailer of Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire, we hear Kanye West and Jay-Z's "No Church in the Wild"—a little odd, yes—under  Nick Carraway's (Maguire) voice before witnessing what seems to be one helluva "gathering" along with a very dapper DiCaprio.

"New York, 1922," Maguire says. "The tempo of the city had changed sharply, the buildings were higher, the parties were bigger, the morals were looser and the liquor was cheaper. The restlessness approached hysteria."

Sounds like a good time to us, and it looks that way, too—people swinging in the air and dancing up a storm, confetti and balloons everywhere, and oh yes, fireworks— just an ordinary get together in New York during the '20s, but even that doesn't compare to the attraction of a certain man.

Watch the clip and see how the recent college grad Carraway, along with practically everyone else, becomes transfixed on this wealthy—and cool—guy named Gatsby (DiCaprio).
