Colonel Mustard did it with the candlestick in the billiard room!
Great news, Psych fans: The long-awaited Clue tribute episode is finally airing this season. And—wait for iiit—guesting in the seventh-season installment are three stars from the original cult film: Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Lesley Ann Warren and Martin Mull.
So what other Clue-riffic surprises are in store?
Like the 1985 satire of the popular board game, "100 Clues" will feature multiple endings.
But the plot of Psych's homage is brand-new: Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dulé Hill) are tasked with absolving '70s glam rocker Billy Lipps (frontman of Billy Lipps and The Guys Behind Me) of murder. Lloyd plays his snobby biographer (titled Rock Bottom), Warren is the band's former groupie, and Mull slurs his way through the show as the band's drunk manager. And because every respectable murder mystery needs a butler, 2 Broke Girls' Garrett Morris fills the spot for Tim Curry's iconic role.
In his second appearance on Psych, Tears for Fears' Curt Smith plays a fictionalized version of himself.
Is this more '80s awesomeness than you can handle?
