A sequel to Seth Rogen and James Franco's hit stoner flick Pineapple Express has been talked about for a while, but it now sounds like it could actually happen!

""I don't think it's so precious that I wouldn't want to ruin it with a sequel," Seth Rogen told us not too long ago about breaking out the bong again. "So yeah, I would be [into it]. We talk about it. We joke around about it."

And now...

"I would love to do a sequel with those guys," Rosie Perez, 47, told us last night at Urban Arts Partnership's announcement for the 2012 24 Hour Plays: Los Angeles event at the Montblanc store in Beverly Hills. "They are a lot of fun.

"They are really kooky in a really pleasant way," Perez, who played a crooked cop in the high-larious 2008 flick, continued. "It was a tough time for me doing that. My father had passed and it was really difficult. They were really kind, especially Seth. They were so kind and so accommodating. So I have really good memories about that experience because it could have been horrible. A reunion, that would be fun!"

We couldn't agree more.

Besides Perez and Rogen, Pineapple Express writer Evan Goldberg has also said he's "loosening up" to the idea of a sequel.

"Everyone has always wanted to do it, me and Seth were very hesitant, but frankly I was the driving force behind that hesitancy," Goldberg said.

Meanwhile, at last night's event, Perez announced the celebrity cast of next month's 24 Hour Plays, a charity event in which actors, writers and directors have one day to put together 10 to 15 minute acts. This year's lineup includes Jason Biggs, Ashley Greene, Brooklyn Decker, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Ritter, Krysten Ritter, Wilmer Valderrama and Zachary Levi.
