It's no wonder Brandi Glanville blends in well with the Real Housewives: She's got quite a temper.

In an interview with Australia's NW HQ magazine (excerpted by Us Weekly), the 39-year-old reality star admitted she had violent urges the first time she saw LeAnn Rimes with her and Eddie Cibrian's children.

"I remember walking up…and there she was with my baby in her lap," she said. "My blood was boiling, and I thought I was going to kill her. I really thought I was going to physically hurt her."

"That was the first time I saw her that way—she was sitting in my soccer chair, under my tent, she's got my kid on her lap and she's with my husband, and that was that little moment of total irrational fury," she added.

But on Tuesday, Glanville clarified to E! News what she meant by those comments. "Every mother has those protective mother-bear feelings, but I obviously didn't want to kill her," she said. "It was a figure of speech."

She also revealed that on Sunday, she and Rimes, 29, exchanged Mother's Day emails. The two women have even been to three-way therapy with Cibrian to "open up lines of communication." Glanville admitted this was "uncomfortable" at times, but overall a positive experience that's enabled them to act civilly for the sake of the children.

Glanville also said she invited her ex-husband and Rimes over to her house for Easter. "I did it for the kids. I don't know that many ex-wives who would do that," she said. "I'm not a hateful person."
