No doubt most anyone in Hollywood would love to land a role in Catching Fire, the still not fully cast follow-up to mega blockbuster The Hunger Games.

Heck, even one of the hilariously funny peeps from Bridesmaids wants in.

Who is it?

Air Marshall Jon!

Yup, Melissa McCarthy's real-life funnyman hubby Ben Falcone says he's all about the Suzanne Collins franchise.

And he has a really good connection—he plays Hunger star Elizabeth Banks' husband in What to Expect When You're Expecting (out May 18).

"I knew she had done this movie and then someone showed me a picture of her and it was so cool!" Falcone remembers. "I was like, I wanna be one of those.

"So I've been openly campaigning to be in it," he continued. "I want to be one of those Capitol dwellers. I want my hair to be 8 feet tall and have purple skin."

May the odds be in your favor, Mr. Falcone.

Meanwhile, Falcone doesn't think the possibility of a Bridesmaids sequel is as dead as everyone might think, even though writers Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo have said they have no plans for one.

"You have to believe that after making all that money, Universal is going to make it happen," he said. "I'm sure something will happen. I could only imagine the voicemails Kristen and Annie are still getting."

(E! Online and Universal Pictures are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
