The Voice Finale Recap: And the Winner Is...

THE VOICE, Chris Mann, Juliet Simms, Jermaine Paul, Tony Lucca Justin Lubin/NBC

One voice has risen!

NBC's The Voice closed out its second season tonight by granting one contestant a deal with Universal Records, bragging rights for their celebrity coach and, oh yeah, $100,000. Plus, special guests Justin Bieber, Lady Antebellum and more stopped by to perform!

So who was crowned the Voice?

Congratulations to Jermaine Paul!

Jermaine edged out finalists Tony Lucca, Chris Mann and Juliet Simms to give coach Blake Shelton his first champion.

Only a quarter of one percentage of the vote separated fourth-place finisher Chris, Christina Aguilera's vocalist, from Adam Levine's finalist Tony, who took third place. Jermaine edged out runner-up Juliet, who was coached by CeeLo Green, by only four percent.

"No more background for you!" Carson told Jermaine, who was a backup singer for Alicia Keys before auditioning for NBC's hit series. Jermaine closed the show with an emotional performance of "I Believe I Can Fly," which he cried his way through. We may have shed a tear...or fifty.

Bieber's debut TV performance of "Boyfriend" was hyped up by host Carson Daly almost as much as the crowning of season two's champ, and the Biebs did not disappoint. The teen icon delivered a rousing rendition of his latest hit song, complete with sexy dancers and moves! "I had a lot of fun!" Bieber said after the performance.

Each finalist selected ousted contestants to bring back during the finale to duet with, leading to some pretty fun performances. Jermaine performed "I Want You Back" with Jamar Rogers, James Massone and Pip because "America wants them back," the singer explained. Lindsey Pavao and Katrina Parker joined Chris onstage for a rendition of "Bittersweet Symphony." Tony brought back Jordis Unger to duet on "Go Your Own Way," while Juliet shared the stage with Erin Willett, RaeLynn and Jamar.

Still, our favorite part of the night, aside from the love letter to Cee Lo's feline friend Purrfect, was the segment that focused on Adam and Blake's much talked-about bromance. "It is clear Adam has a crush on me. I don't have the crush on him that he has on me, although I do think he is a good-looking man," Shelton said while denying rumors of more than romance between the two. "Adam Blake and I are friends. The nature of our friendship is platonic and we like to dance together."  At the end of it though, Blake revealed he has a new man crush: Carson! Sorry, Adam!

Also fun was Saturday Night Live star Keenan Thompson's imitation of Cee Lo, whom he called "a pimp baby" and "a villain in a James Bond movie directed by Tyler Perry." Well played, Keenan. Well played. Parks and Recreation stars Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Rob Lowe and Chris Pratt also got in on the Cee Lo love, starring in a skit with the fan-favorite coach.

(E!, NBC and Universal Records are all part of the NBCUniversal family.)

Do you agree with America's choice? Do you think Jermaine deserved to win? Sound off in the comments!
