Soundgarden's comeback sounds smashing, courtesy of the Hulk & Co.
The grunge rockers have unleashed the official music video for "Live To Rise," which is featured in The Avengers movie unspooling at midnight tonight and is the first single from the forthcoming Avengers Assemble album.
Soundgarden wrote "Live To Rise" for the highly anticipated blockbuster and so the clip contains crazy amounts of footage of the superhero squad in action. It's intercut with shots of shaggy-haired lead singer Chris Cornell and his bandmates rocking out in what looks to be an empty (Stark Industries?) hangar—seemingly ripping a black hole blue sun out of the fabric of the Superunknown.
